Terms and Conditions

Upon purchasing this warranty, you will need to set up a homeowner account on our website. This warranty covers labor only, with each claim having a maximum value of $3000. Homeowners must register product information, including the product name, description of materials used, location purchased, and manufacturer name for easy reference in the event of a claim. Our repair technicians are on call to handle your claim promptly. In the event of a claim, we will send a repair technician and compensate $100 per hour for repairs. Repair technicians are there to help you; you agree to treat them with respect and provide a safe workspace during repairs. Animals should be placed in a non-threatening location.

The terms of this policy are transferable upon the sale of your home. New homeowners can register to transfer warranty coverage, which will cover the new homeowner for the remainder of your initial term.  After purchasing, we assume liability only after the contractor has been paid in full and both parties confirm the job's completion. This can be done by providing supporting documents, such as a completion of work document signed by both parties under the supervision of a third party, who will confirm with their name and signature. This document must be signed, dated, and uploaded within 10 business days of project completion.  Contact customer support if you cannot provide proof of completion and for alternative methods.

All work must conform to local and provincial building codes, with necessary permits submitted before beginning work. If unsure if your project needs a permit, we recommend asking your local building department which is located in your municipal office building.  HomeSocial Warranty Inc. is not responsible for work performed without a permit or in violation of building codes. Our repair technicians reserve the right to deny coverage if the work does not meet minimum installation standards and practices. Check with your local building department for specific information about your project. We reserve the right to deny coverage in the event of a dangerous incident or aggressive behavior towards our members. By purchasing this warranty, you agree to the terms and policies. This policy is non-refundable and subject to the terms and conditions herein.

Additional Considerations:

  • Ensure all claims are submitted promptly.

  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions related to warranty claims.

  • Understand that any modifications or alterations to the original installation may affect warranty coverage.

  • Regularly review warranty terms and conditions for updates or changes.

By adhering to these guidelines, you can ensure smooth processing of claims and optimal use of your warranty coverage.
